WE News 12-11-2023

  • This a reminder that the Weyauwega  Elementary school day starts at 8:00 am, any time after that your student is considered tardy.  Excessive tardies will lead to truancy. If you know your child is going to be late, leaving early, or out of school for the day please contact the office at 920-867-8165.

When picking up /dropping off  your students  for an  appointment , please do not park by the front doors.

Parking at the end of the day: Please allow plenty of parking spaces for our students and families  to cross by the school to the other sidewalk.  Please park beyond the red cones/yellow lines.  It is policy in the state of Wisconsin to park 15 feet from the Crosswalk.

If your child requires an over-the-counter medication for any reason,  you must provide the medication in the original container. The medication form must be filled out with the child’s name, specific directions, and signed and dated by the parent.  If the dosage is outside of the recommended dosage on the label, a health care practitioner must also sign the form prior to medication administrastion. Cough drops will also need to be kept at the office in the original bag/container with students name on it.

Please be advised, the students will be going outside unless the weather is below zero. Students are required to wear winter coats, hats, boots and mittens. For safety reasons we do not allow scarves on the playground. Please provide your child with the proper clothing during frigid weather. We do recommend  sending two or three pairs of mttens as they do get wet during the first recess. Any question feel free to call the office 920-867-8165.
